Great Oaks Learning Academy - opening August 2026

For families looking for full time individualized education, GOL is opening GOL Academy, a 5-day full time private school for students who did not thrive in the traditional classroom setting. Low ratios of 1 staff member to every 5 students will ensure each student gets exactly what they need. Enrolling now for grades K-12.

Our Philosophy: We know that no two students are the same. Some learn differently, some have unique challenges, some crave a more flexible, hands-on approach.

At Great Oaks Learning, we build the program around the student — not the other way around.

Our Leader

Our founder (licensed special education teacher, master’s in Special Education, Educational Specialist certificate) has been working with learners from birth through high school, holds autism-studies training and is advancing her credentials in the Barton Reading System. She brings both professional expertise and personal understanding (as a parent of a child with special needs), meaning we don’t just teach learners — we advocate for them.

Great Oaks Learning Academy

Starting at $10,000/year

(Ages 5 and Up / Grade K-12 equivalency)

We are excited to announce our new full day private school option, with before and after school care available. Students of all abilities are welcome. Instruction covers language arts, math, science, social studies, social-emotional learning, physical education and more, with each learner supported at their individual level. Low ratios of one staff member to every five students ensures individualized attention for all.

Micro-School

Starting at $275/mo

(Ages 5 and Up / Grade K-12 equivalency)

We are pleased to offer 2, 3 or 4 afternoon session options for the 2026–2027 school year. Students of all abilities are welcome. Instruction covers language arts, math, science, social studies and more, with each learner supported at their individual level.
